Summer is officially underway, and God is moving in incredible ways. Across all three Hume campuses this summer, campers are journeying through the Psalms, discovering how God’s Word gives us language for every season of life. Whether in joy, sorrow, celebration, or struggle, the Psalms remind us that we can bring every part of our hearts honestly before the Lord.
The impact is already evident in the words of campers:
“I feel more full of God’s love than I ever have.”
“I feel like I’m worthy of being loved now.”
“I had a day where I got to go out alone and pray for all of my friends. It was the first time I’ve had a conversation with God.”
Others shared stories of healing and hope:
“Last night I prayed a prayer of lament for the first time about losing my dad.”
“I have felt so alone and invisible but realize that I’m free in Christ.”
“I’ve never felt more like I belong.”
As students study the Psalms, they’re learning that God welcomes every emotion and every question. They’re discovering that He is faithful in every circumstance and that His love never changes.
