Journey Through the World of C.S. Lewis with Hume Christian Camps

Great news—our C.S. Lewis tour became even more accessible! We’ve made thoughtful adjustments to the schedule and hotel selections, allowing us to offer this incredible experience at a lower price. If you’ve ever dreamed of walking in the footsteps of one of Christianity’s greatest storytellers, now is the time to join us.

From September 19–28, 2025, Hume Christian Camps invites you on a remarkable journey through the life and legacy of C.S. Lewis. Led by Dr. Jerry Root, a renowned Lewis scholar, and Dr. John Boal, Hume’s Executive Director, this exclusive tour—limited to just 36 participants—offers a rare opportunity to explore the places that shaped Lewis’s profound faith and literary genius.

Your adventure begins in Belfast, where Lewis’s early years and the breathtaking landscapes of Northern Ireland helped spark the imagination that would bring Narnia to life. From there, you’ll travel through Oxford and Cambridge, visiting key locations that influenced his work and faith. Along the way, you’ll experience:

  • A tour of Lewis’s childhood home and the places that inspired his stories
  • A visit to The Kilns, his beloved Oxford residence
  • Royal tea at Kensington Gardens
  • A scenic punting experience on the River Cam in Cambridge
  • A tour of the world’s largest Titanic museum in Belfast
  • A choral Evensong at Oxford’s University Church of St. Mary the Virgin

For those wanting to extend the adventure, an optional four-day trip (September 28–October 2) will take you to Normandy’s historic battle sites and conclude in the heart of Paris, where you’ll stay at the elegant Hôtel Napoléon.

Join Dr. Jerry & Claudia Root, John & Lyn Boal, and Hume Christian Camps on this unforgettable journey, created in partnership with Morning Star Tours. Space is limited, so don’t miss your chance to experience the world of C.S. Lewis firsthand. Secure your spot today!
