Help Hume Meet Our 2023 Campership Goal

By: Richelle Latona, Director of Alumni Relations & Hume Fund

As 2023 comes to an end, stories continue to come in of lives impacted by Hume and the gospel message shared at camp. Students that came to camp this summer have returned to their schools, families, and churches. And although the routine of the school year sets in- lives look different because of decisions made this past year at Hume. Homes, youth groups, churches, schools and communities have been changed by these students. I had a chance to connect with a friend that is a youth worker. She shared that her students talk about Hume ALL YEAR LONG, and that no other program has such a significant impact on their ministry.

What is most exciting is that each camper that comes to Hume will hear with clarity the Gospel message.

This year we have shared the goal of making sure we raise enough for Camperships so that “No Camper is Left Behind.” For those of you that don’t know, Camperships (Hume’s twist to camp scholarships) are what we offer to families that need a little help financially to send their child to camp. We desire that every student that wants to come to camp is able and that finances will not be a hindrance. This year, our goal was to raise 1 Million Dollars to meet the needs of those who needed financial help.

We are ALMOST to our goal…

This is why we need your help!

We are asking our prayer partners and generous supporters to pray about this! In your year end giving, would you consider the 2023 Campership Fund so that no camper is left behind?
