Can you even begin to believe that Summer 2023 is here?! Campers from all over are getting ready to head up to camp. They might have their week marked on the calendar with anticipation of it coming. They might even be getting on a bus today to enjoy Week 1! The planning and packing and making sure they have everything from sunscreen to enough snacks for the bus ride. There is so much excitement in the anticipation of camp.
What is most exciting is that each camper that comes to Hume will hear with clarity the Gospel message.
This year we shared on the Hume Tour the goal of making sure we raise enough for Camperships so that “No Camper is Left Behind.” For those of you that don’t know, Camperships (Hume’s twist to camp scholarships) are what we offer to families that need a little help financially to send their child to camp. We desire that every student that wants to come to camp is able and that finances will not be a hindrance. Last year, in 2022, we gave away over 2,000 camperships. This year, we need to raise 1 million dollars to meet the needs of getting kids to camp.
We are about a quarter of the way there…
This is why we need your help!
We are asking our prayer partners and generous supporters to pray about this! Would you consider giving to the 2023 Campership Fund so that no camper is left behind? Watch below for a special video that sums up why camperships are so very important.
